Preamble: 

Healthy oceans and seas are necessary for our existence.  These natural resources cover 70% of our planet and as human beings we depend on them for food, energy and water.  Through the years, we cause serious damage that threatens the conservation of such valuable ecosystems. Puerto Rico is rich in these ecosystems and marine life essential for the environmental and economic development of the country.  The application of this challenge proposes beyond creating awareness, strengthening our commitment to eradicate pollution, indiscriminate fishing and assuming the duty of responsible management and care of marine life in Puerto Rico and the world.  

 

The challenge: 

A student with skills in manual arts and painting must develop an art that shows the need to take action to protect the marine ecosystem in Puerto Rico, using a theme that will be assigned randomly by our organization.

Challenge 11:  Marine life

General rules

 

  1. Register in the Individual Way Challenge. 

  2. Once registered, the theme to be developed on your Canvas will be sent randomly.

  3. Create an art around the assigned theme, whose main theme is the conservation of marine life and one of the targets 14.1, 14.2 and 14.5 of this goal.

  4. Once you have a clear idea of the message you want to convey, unleash your creativity and outline the sketch of your art. 

  5. Use your visual perception and design an easy-to-understand art with the aim of creating awareness among all ages. 

  6. Develop a brief explanation of what you wanted to represent and communicate with art.

  7. Submit art on or before April 20, 2021. An academic will evaluate the art and share their recommendations. (Provide information about this (a).

  1. Representative art of goal 14, according to theme.

  2. Brief explanation of what you wanted to represent and communicate.

  3. Sketch

 

It will be evaluated according to the Rubrics of experts on the subject.
