Preamble:
In Puerto Rico and the world, greater attention is required towards the protection, restoration and sustainable promotion of terrestrial ecosystems and forests. It is essential to combat desertification, stop and reverse land degradation and loss of biodiversity. In this direction, it is our responsibility to strengthen the implementation and revitalization of global alliances for the sustainable development of our ecosystems.
The challenge:
Develop a system that seeks to plant the greatest number of trees around Puerto Rico, through alliances. The process requires evidencing how the objective was achieved, identifying the tree or trees planted, indicating the plan to follow to ensure its growth and its value for the benefit of the environment.
