Challenge 2:  Zero Hunger / Health and Well-being

Preamble: 

The World Health Organization considers weight problems as one of the main causes of diseases in the population. Among the common elements, the lack of healthy eating patterns is evident. In response, these motivated the creation of environments, programs and services that promote healthy eating patterns and active lifestyles for people of all ages.  

 

The challenge: 

Develop a four-week program for a person that causes a change in their lifestyle and health.  It should include an integrated nutrition and exercise plan, in addition to showing evidence of the process and the participant's development.

General rules

 

  1. Register for the challenge individually.

  2. Identify a person who can benefit from the plan.

  3. Make a profile of the person in order to develop the plan.  The data must be certified by an academic.

  4. Develop the Nutrition Plan and the Physical Activities Plan - Show it.

  5. Apply the Plan for four weeks and monitor progress. (Show Evidence).

  6. Submit Results - Certification of the process by beneficiary and academic. Data comparison.

Deliverables and Measures of Success

  1. Integrated Nutrition and Exercise Plan

  2. Results Sheet by participant or beneficiary.

  3. Certification of results and evidence.

It will be evaluated according to the Rubrics of experts in both topics.
