Preamble:
More than 80% of the energy consumed in the world comes from fossil fuels and this translates into an increase in greenhouse gases that impact climate change and has a direct effect on life on the planet. In the midst of global warming, air and water pollution, renewable energy is the essential partner, capable of combating climate change. Those resources that rely on this alternative source of energy generate a clean and more viable solution to environmental degradation.
The challenge:
Creation of a scale model prototype of an infrastructure that uses an innovative model to produce or save energy.

General rules
In this challenge they can participate individually or in teams of two.
Identify three elements that you want to create with your renewable energy model.
Develop a sketch or diagram for the model where you identify the elements to include and the benefit of the design.
Check with an academic or renewable energy expert about the feasibility of the model.
List the benefits of the model.
Create a scale model or prototype of the solution you present.
Take photos of yourself (s) in the process of designing the scale model or prototype and at least one photo of the final result.
Deliverables and Measures of Success
Sketch or diagram of the Model
Document where you list the benefits.
Certification of the academic or renewable energy expert with whom you shared your ideas.
Photos of the Prototype and evidence of the design process.
It will be evaluated by engineers and experts in renewable energy.
